A dermal filler such as Juvéderm® XC is a natural sugar called hyaluronic acid when injected under the skin helps the skin to retain maintain moisture, softness and adds volume.

How long does a filler last?

It varies depending on the filler used, typically 6 months up to 2 years.

What areas are treated with fillers?

Cheeks, lips and lines around the mouth, referred to as parenthesis.
