Laparoscopy
Laparoscopy is a modern surgical procedure that is done by placing a scope through the umbilical area to inspect the abdomen and pelvis. This is frequently done when a patient is experiencing pelvic pain or there is concern of an abnormality in the abdomen or pelvis. Laparoscopy is used to then treat the medical condition as well perform other treatments such as a tubal ligation. For more information, click here.
